Engineer Mamdouh Raslan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holding Company for Potable Water and Wastewater, explained that drinking water and sewage services have been improved in Sohag and a number of projects have been implemented that contribute to the availability of a clean cup of water for citizens and the safe disposal of sewage.

Engineer Mohamed Salah El-Din Abdel Ghaffar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sohag Water and Wastewater Company and Managing Director, indicated that in the field of drinking water and wastewater projects, 58 large, small, and artesian surface drinking water stations were replaced and renovated in the governorate’s districts, and 35 groundwater wells were drilled and constructed in 32 water stations.
